To paraphrase Mike Francesa, I can’t believe it’s already Week 5.

As has been the case for the other four weeks, below you can find charts looking at each matchup using advanced stats.

Thanks as always to the people behind the nflverse project for the data that powers this analysis.

Bye weeks: Chiefs, Panthers

Also, I’ve included a glossary in case some of these metrics are unfamiliar to you or you need a refresher.

Buccaneers at Cowboys (Thursday Night Football)

When Dallas has the ball

When Tampa Bay has the ball

Eagles vs. Jaguars (London)

When Jacksonville has the ball

When Philadelphia has the ball

Colts at Steelers

When Pittsburgh has the ball

  • Aaron Rodgers leads the league in deep pass attempts (20-plus air yards), but has only completed 20.6% of them; this ranks 24th out of the 27 passers with at least 10 deep attempts.

When Indianapolis has the ball

Bears at Packers

When Green Bay has the ball

  • The Bears’ pass defense has been a pleasant surprise in the early going; last season, Chicago needed the league’s highest interception rate just to flirt with a league-average EPA per dropback mark.

  • The Bears were 19th in EPA per dropback last year, with the interceptions only able to do so much to offset allowing the eighth-highest dropback success rate.

  • This season, the Bears are second in both EPA per dropback and dropback success rate allowed.

When Chicago has the ball

Raiders at Patriots

When New England has the ball

When Las Vegas has the ball

Vikings at Saints

When New Orleans has the ball

When Minnesota has the ball

Browns at Jets

When New York has the ball

  • Geno Smith has been the league’s most accurate deep passer, completing 8 of his 12 passes thrown at least 20 yards down the field.

  • Smith hasn’t attempted to go deep all that often — the Jets are 19th in deep passes per throw — but Cleveland has faced the league’s highest rate of these pass attempts.

When Cleveland has the ball

  • The Jets’ streak of consecutive games without an interception ended at 20, as New York picked off Tyson Bagent last week.

Giants at Commanders

When Washington has the ball

When New York has the ball

Bengals at Dolphins

When Miami has the ball

When Cincinnati has the ball

Texans at Titans

When Tennessee has the ball

When Houston has the ball

49ers at Seahawks

When Seattle has the ball

When San Francisco has the ball

  • Fun strength-versus-strength matchup on this side of the ball. San Francisco leads the NFL in EPA per play while Seattle is fourth-best in EPA allowed per play.

Lions at Cardinals

When Arizona has the ball

When Detroit has the ball

Broncos at Chargers

When Los Angeles has the ball

  • The Broncos defense has not gotten results commensurate with its reputation as one of the league’s best units, but a tough early schedule might have something to do with it. Denver has had to face the Chiefs, Jaguars, Rams and 49ers.

  • Based on how the first four weeks have shaken out, the Chargers should present a substantially easier test.

When Denver has the ball

Ravens at Falcons (Sunday Night Football)

When Atlanta has the ball

  • Cooper Rush and Jack Strand’s horrible performance in their 61 combined dropbacks is still more than offsetting Michael Penix Jr.’s strong effort in his 44.

When Baltimore has the ball

Bills at Rams (Monday Night Football)

When Los Angeles has the ball

When Buffalo has the ball
